Looking to assert themselves at home, the Philadelphia Flyers started off with one of their best all-around games of the season.

Sean Couturier had a short-handed goal to lead a balanced scoring attack and the Flyers beat the Minnesota Wild 5-1 on Tuesday night.

Kimmo Timonen, Scott Hartnell, Braydon Coburn and Jakub Voracek also had goals and Jaromir Jagr had two assists for the Flyers, who got points from 12 players.

Every line was cycling, every line was getting shots, it was a big win, Hartnell said.

The Flyers began a stretch of 11 of 15 games at home after playing 20 of 29 on the road. They improved to 11-6-2 at the Wells Fargo Center.

We wanted to come out hard, Timonen said. Our home record has not been where we want it. We wanted to play a full 60 minutes and show where our attitude is.

Ilya Bryzgalov made 25 saves to earn the win, a day after coach Peter Laviolette reiterated hes the No.

As a certain frog is fond of reminding us, it’s not easy being green.  Step down any aisle at any store and you’ll be bombarded with scores of items claiming to embody the very latest in environmentally friendly product. But what is really a benefit for the environment and what is pure marketing fluff? What is the point of buying a so-called environmentally friendly toilet that claim to use 50% less water, but you need to flush it three times every time you use it? Caveat emptor. The same caution should be used in web hosting. There are hundreds of companies that will host your website(s), but are they as green as they say they are or have they just loaded their sales sites with a load of SEO-friendly keywords?
